A brutal femicide shocked Los Polvorines when a 73-year-old retiree violently attacked his 77-year-old wife, Francisca Rosario Silva. The couple's daughter was the one who discovered the terrible scene upon finding her father bloodied next to her mother's body in their home located on the corners of Mahatma Gandhi and Dardo Rocha.
According to the daughter, her father suffers from psychiatric problems, although examinations still need to be conducted to confirm this. After notifying the authorities, the man was arrested while his wife was taken to the Trauma Hospital of Pablo Nogués, where she unfortunately passed away due to the severity of her injuries.
The Investigation Fiscal Unit, led by Prosecutor Silvia Mónica Bazzani González, took on the case and the retiree was charged with aggravated homicide due to the relationship. The tragic event occurred last weekend and has shocked the community of Los Polvorines.
